03/22/2023 – At 12:50, Fairmount was alerted to a Residential Structure Fire on the 100 block of Armstrong Road in the Lakeside Fire District. Fairmount Engine 94 (Engine 4) along with the home department and the balance of the mutual aid box responded. Engine 94 arrived second due and was put to work stretching a line into the basement after securing a water supply. Crews were tasked with search, fire extinguishing, and overhaul operations.
