At 10:20, Fairmount was alerted to a motor vehicle collision with possible injuries at the intersection of Daniluk and Route 5 in the Camillus Fire District. A loaded semi truck had left the roadway and struck a utility pole before coming to a stop in a ditch. Fairmount Engine 6 and Car 3 responded. Engine 6 arrived first due and extracted the sole occupant of the tractor trailer as well as assessed hazards.
